1. Little Changes Add Up
Cream with your coffee
Beer, liquor, or white wine
French fries or potato chips
Veggies sautéed with oil
Whole grain bread
Brown rice or quinoa
Veggies sautéed with broth
2. Eat the Right Carbs

3. Don’t Skip Breakfast
Drink a glass of water when you first wake up, then start your metabolic engine first thing with a balanced breakfast!
4. Eat Often
Keep your metabolism working: Eat reasonable portions every few hours. Don’t starve between meals.
5. Follow Guidelines, Not Rules
Guidelines (e.g., lemon water with every meal and no white grains) are easier to follow than rigid rules (e.g., 400 calories at each meal with 100 calorie snacks).
6. Chew, Chew and Chew Some More
Chew to the point that your food is completely liquefied. This slows eating to create fullness and improves digestion.
7. Drink Warm Water with Lemon
Drink warm water with lemon 10-15 minutes before you eat and with every meal. It helps you feel full, hydrates you and it alkalizes your pH level.
8. Embrace Exercise
Sweating promotes the movement of the lymphatic and circulatory systems.
9. Consider Supplements
